Former Unicorn Jordan Westburg has been named to the 2024 Major League Baseball All-Star Team.

The Class of 2017 New Braunfels High School graduate who is now playing for the Baltimore Orioles hitting .281 with 14 home runs and 49 RBI.

“I was very honored, humbled by just the fact that I was in those conversations,” Westburg told mlb.com. “It’s something that coming into the year I didn’t — I certainly wouldn’t have expected. I have confidence in my abilities, but I would have never thought that I would be in the talks halfway through the year to be an All-Star. So it’s cool. It’s something that I’ll never forget, no matter how long my career goes.”

Following his time at NBHS, Westburg played collegiately at Mississippi State University before being drafted by Baltimore 30th overall in 2020.
