New Braunfels High School swimmer Fynn Minus was recognized for breaking school records during a team’s practice that was held earlier this week at Das Rec.
Minus, a sophomore, broke records in the 400-yard Individual Medley, the 1,000-yard Freestyle and the 1650-yard Freestyle. The 1650-yard is equivalent to a mile-long swim. The team celebrated her accomplishments congratulating her with plaques that were presented by senior team captains Sheridan Meyer and Emily Johnston.
Minus, Meyer, Johnston and the rest of their fellow swimmers will be in action on November 3 at the DLJ Classic, which is scheduled to be held at Blossom Athletic Center in San Antonio. They then will compete at Northside ISD on Nov. 11, before returning home to host the NBISD Invite. The NBISD Invite will be held at Das Rec on November 17.
