It was a great year for the Lady Unicorn soccer team – earning district and bi-district titles and having 11 players named for district superlatives.

The Lady Unicorns went on to claim the district title before heading into bi-district and winning that game as well. With the top spot in Class 6A-27, the girls in blue also claimed 11 spots on the all-district team.

Senior Madison Creswell, who is signed to play at St. Edward’s University, was co-midfielder of the year. This is her second straight year to win that awards.

Lorian Lopez and Hannah Sanches, both seniors, were awarded as the co-forwards of the year, making the third consecutive year that Lopez has been named first team. She has signed to play at Concorida University.

For the second  straight year, Francesca Coronado, a senior, and Grasyn Unruh, a junior, were named to the all-district first-team. Freshman Savanah Moya made her first, first team all-district nod.

Juniors Kennadie Moline, Payton Mills and Kaitlin Sprey all were selected to the second team. Senior Rayden Cranford earned her second straight honorable mention nod, while sophomore Mackenna Cundiff was named to her first.

Overall, it was a great season for New Braunfels finishing 9-0-1 in district play.
