The NBISD Board selected the second school color for Long Creek High School (LCHS) during their regular monthly board meeting on February 13. They selected the color of dark green to go with the previously selected color of navy blue.

Navy blue and dark green will be the colors for the school’s new mascot – the dragons – that was selected earlier this school year.

LCHS will be NBISD’s second comprehensive high school. It is scheduled to open in August 2024 at the campus that currently houses the Ninth Grade Center. Funding to add on and expand the campus is being provided through the 2021 Bond Program.
