NBISD’s Ninth Grade Center is being converted into Long Creek High School and will open its doors in August of 2024. The school on Klein Meadows Road near the Legend Point subdivision will officially open phase I with Freshman and Sophomores in the first year. As part of phase I, construction crews are building academic wings to include career and technical education (CTE), a new baseball and softball field, concessions and restrooms, and more parking behind the new tennis courts. Phase I has an expected completion date of summer 2024.

Phase II will consist of a new auditorium, a black box theater and scene shop, new fine arts classrooms for choir, drama and dance, and additional athletic facilities, including an auxiliary gym. Phase II of construction will begin shortly after phase I is complete. Phase II will consist of a two-story building with an expected completion date of summer 2025.
