The New Braunfels FFA Wildlife team placed 6th at the Area VII FFA Wildlife and 9th in the Region II contest.

The team will advance to the state contest with their strong finishes. The state even is being held on April 22 at the Texas Tech University Learning Center in Junction, TX.

The team consists of Evan Barrett, Jackson Hales, Nate Chapa-Weber, and Vence Laureano.

Students apply the information gained through enrollment in the agricultural science wildlife management course to demonstrate and identify plant species, proper habitat management practices, safety procedures, game laws, management techniques as well as compass and pacing skills.
