Under the leadership of head coach Glenn Mangold, the New Braunfels High School football team went 6-5, with a second-place finish in Class 6A-2, only losing to Steele. Along the way, many NBHS players were named to the all-district teams.

Senior running back Tyree Johnson was named the district co-offensive player of the year after a stellar season in which he rushed for 1,544 yards and 19 touchdowns. Other players earning all district nods included:
