It was a solid season for the New Braunfels Unicorn boy’s soccer team and several players earned awards for their play during district.

The Unicorns earned a spot in the bi-district round where the team finished just shy of Brandeis. After dropping eight of their first nine games to stiff competition, the boy’s started heating up and finished in third place in Class 6A-27.

Sophomore goalkeeper Graham Taylor led the way for big blue as he earned the title of district goalkeeper of the year.

First team all-district nods went to seniors Tomlin Fischer and Sam Renno as well as sophomore Isaac Leach. Those earning second-team accolades included Caden Bryan, a senior, Jude Walker, a sophomore, and Brodie Berger, a junior. Honorable mention honors went to seniors Jesse Haughton and Skyler Bevis and sophomore Ryder Mosqueda.
