New Braunfels High School freshman Chloe Verducci earned sixth place at the Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Leadership Conference that was held in Corpus Christi.

Verducci competed in the interview skills competition. To qualify for the state competition, she earned a first-place finish at the regional event in January.

Verducci was recognized during a Monday, April 8th NBISD Board of Trustees meeting for her achievement. She was joined by BPA advisors Chasity Camero and Tracee Conder.

Business Professionals of America members are provided an opportunity for the development of leadership skills, personal and professional growth, and career-related competencies. Involvement in Business Professionals of America will enhance social awareness, civic responsibility, and understanding of the business community. The state leadership conference (SLC) is the highlight of the Texas Association and we look forward to hosting over 3,600 members for our conference.
